About.
Amanda Townes (she/her) is a Florida-grown actress, singer, musician, improvisor, and leader. She graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre and Minor in Psychology from Florida Southern College in May 2023. Since graduation, she has performed professionally in regional theatre, Cedar Fair Theme Parks, and Canival Cruise Line.
Amanda works with Carnival Cruise Line as a singer/musician in the Country Duo, Oopsie Daisy. Next, she will be setting sail on the Carnival Legend and Carnival Dream.

Inspired by Hannah Montana, at the age of 9, Amanda saved $50 to buy her first guitar so she could live her dream of being a rockstar. Since then, she has discovered musical theatre and is pursuing a professional career as a performer.
Amanda finds her purpose in the performing arts by being able to bring joy to others and share important stories in a beautiful, impactful way. Some of her favorite roles have included Celisse in Godspell and Erma in Anything Goes.
During her time in college, Amanda got involved with Studio Box Improv Comedy and developed a performing Arts Program for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County. She was the recipient of "Best Actress in a Minor Role" for her performance as Eileen in Moon Over Buffalo at Florida Southern College.

In this role, she has founded a performing arts program across nine clubs across Polk County. She coached students ages 6-16 in singing, acting, and dancing. She recently directed her students in a musical theatre showcase at the Theatre Winter Haven where they performed hits such as "Man in the Mirror" and "I Feel The Earth Move,"
