Inspired by Hannah Montana, Amanda Townes saved up $50 at age 9 to buy her first guitar — determined to live her dream of being a rockstar. That early passion grew into a love for musical theatre and a professional career as a dynamic vocalist, actor-musician, and acoustic performer.
Since earning her BFA in Musical Theatre from Florida Southern College, Amanda has performed regionally, entertained thousands aboard cruise ships, and played solo acoustic sets across Central Florida. Favorite stage roles include Celisse in Godspell and Erma in Anything Goes, with a growing focus on actor-musician and pop/rock-driven shows.
Amanda finds purpose in performance through joy, connection, and meaningful storytelling. While in college, she performed with Studio Box Improv and created a performing arts program for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County. She was honored with “Best Actress in a Minor Role” for her performance as Eileen in Moon Over Buffalo and continues to bring authenticity and heart to every stage she steps on.
